President Richard M. Englert
Richard M. Englert is currently serving as Temple’s president for the 2023–2024 academic year while the presidential search was underway. This marks Englert’s third term as the university’s chief executive officer, previously serving as president from 2016 to 2021, and as acting president in 2012. For more than 45 years, President Englert has led Temple and remained an engaged member of the university community across various roles, including dean and chancellor.
